The online journal entitled Irish Review of Community Economic Development Law and Policy is published four times yearly by the Northside Community Law Centre. Issue 3 has now been published which deals with community investment and participation. The issue contains articles from Ireland and abroad, including proposals for financing social enterprises, a case study of the challenges faced by disadvantaged communities in accessing the labour market and an international example of a worker-owned cooperative among others.
The Law Centre is now requesting articles for Issue 4 which will be on the theme of Legal Services and community legal education. The deadline for submission of an article is July 31st. The Law Centre is also accepting proposals for themes for Volume 2 of the journal.
