Since 2012 in conjunction with Leinster House, Crosscare has been running a TD Internship scheme specifically for migrants and new Irish citizens.
Following the successful launch of the Opening Power to Diversity (OPD) scheme last year, Crosscare Migrant Project (CMP) are now accepting applications for the fourth term of this ground breaking scheme which will run from January to July 2014.
The OPD scheme will match volunteer migrants with TDs. Over a six month period, on a part-time basis, migrants/new citizens will get a unique and valuable experience and insight into how politics works in Ireland by assisting and observing the TD in his/her daily work.
