ASF (Avocats San Frontières) is an international NGO that assists the most vulnerable people to acess justice. ASF intervenes in countries where human rights are not respected, where political violence and armed conflict reign, and where legal rules are flouted.
ASF is organising a conference ‘Lawyering for Change’ to provide an opportunity to discuss and focus on practices which foster sustainable change. Lawyers, legal experts and social stakeholders from Central Africa, South East Asia, North Africa, America and Europe will share their experiences of the work carried out in their respective countries. This experience will be placed in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which include the promotion of the rule of law and the guarantee of access to justice for all.
The cost for this event is €80 for both days, or €50 per day, with reduced rates available for trainee lawyers, students and members of the International Legal Network. You must register in advance for this event.
