The Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg periodically needs to take on lawyers for its Research and Documentation service to occupy administrators' posts as members of the temporary staff to carry out studies and research and documentation work concerning Union law and national laws.
The successful applicants will be recruited as members of the temporary staff under a one year renewable contract.
Applicants must havea full education in the national law of one of the Member States, attested by a University degree, and very good knowledge of Union law. Proven professional experience acquired in a job entailing the actual practice of legal research both in Union law and national law is highly desirable. For reasons relating to the service, a good knowledge of French, including a genuine ability to draft in that language, is required.
