The Organisation - The International Protection Appeals Tribunal (IPAT) is a newly established organisation which has replaced the existing Refugee Appeals Tribunal. The Tribunal decides appeals of those persons whose application for International Protection status has not been recommended by the International Protection Office.
Applicants will - On or before 2 February 2017 be called to the Bar or be enrolled as a Solicitor in the State or be entitled to be enrolled* and have applied for enrolment; Have at least 5 years’ experience as a practising barrister or solicitor; Have satisfactory knowledge and experience of national, EU and international protection and human rights law and practice.
