The NI Law Centre works to promote social justice by using the law as a tool for social change. It is committed to changing lives by changing law and it is looking for new colleagues who share its commitment to social justice.

Job Title: Senior Solicitor (SS-11-19)

Job Purpose: This post will lead the promotion of social justice in a senior legal role in NI. The Senior Solicitor will lead the legal team by undertaking casework that achieves progressive development of law and practice in NI. The post-holder will be responsible for leading on the Law Centre’s strategic litigation work.

Location: Belfast

Salary: SPC, point 40 – 42 £36,153 - £38,153 + 3% employer pension contribution

Post: 35 hours per week

Job Title: Legal Officer – Employment (LO-14-19)

Job Purpose: This post will promote employment law rights across NI through the provision of legal advice and assistance, policy advocacy, training and legal information.

Location: Belfast

Salary: SPC point 33, £29,909, plus 3% employer pension contribution

Post: 35 hours per week

Job Title: Policy Officer (PO-16-19)

Job Purpose: This post will work with the employment law team to ensure that the public are well informed about employment law rights in NI and to make a difference to policy development in NI on employment law and industrial relations.

Location: Belfast

Salary: SPC point 29, commencing £29,055+ 3% employer pension contribution

Post: 35 hrs per week, fixed-term to March 2020 with potential of extension
