About the event: Does the EU effecticely promote anti-discrimination rights in its neighbourhood? How do the legal agreements with Northern Ireland (as part of the UK as the EU's new Western neighbourhood) and Ukraine contribute to this? Does EU anti-discrimination law have integrative capacity beyond the bloc's borders? What can be done to counter the abuse of anti-discrimination law by the religious right in challenging gender equality regimes?

These are questions at the core of the seminar.
