Sam Foley joins PILA

Paralegal and Pre-Trainee Sam has joined the Public Interest Law Alliance on a secondment, as part of her role on the Pro Bono team in Arthur Cox. Sam recently graduated from Law (LL.B) at Trinity College Dublin, and has a flair for environmental justice, immigration law, equality and free legal aid. Sam is currently a Climate Ambassador with An Táisce, and was formerly the Environmental Officer for Trinity College Dublin Student Union, a Caseworker for the Irish Innocence Project and Librarian for Du Law Society. In her role on the Pro Bono team at Arthur Cox, Sam oversees the Arthur Cox Legal Education Project, partakes in the FLAC phone lines and assists with family reunification cases. Sam can be reached at samantha.foley@flac.ie.

PILA also wishes to bid farewell and thank Trainee Solicitor Gavan Mc Laughlin who has completed his secondment with PILA. His energy and skillset were a really welcome addition to the PILA team and he was very popular with PILA and FLAC staff and fitted in really well. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Gavan. PILA wishes him well and is looking forward to working with Sam.
