Danielle joined PILA as a Legal Officer in May 2021. Danielle is a lawyer, called to the Bar of Ireland in 2020. Her primary degree is a BA International from University College Dublin. Upon successful election, Danielle served as Education Officer for UCD Student Union – representing the views of 33,000 students on a local, national and international level. Following this, Danielle successfully completed a Masters of Common Law at UCD Sutherland School of Law.
Danielle has five years of professional experience working in public interest and human rights law. Furthermore, She has five years of professional experience leading fundraising and communications for a busy not-for-profit. Danielle currently serves as a Director for Youth Advocate Programme, Ireland. Danielle is super passionate about sustainability, particularly the economic and social pillars.
Having a keen interest in both human rights and public interest law, Danielle has participated in a Model United Nations competition each year in New York, serving as the Director of the Human Rights Council in 2021. In March 2021, she founded Legal Diaries which provides straightforward, affordable legal & communications products and services for small businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs across Ireland.
