The PILS (Public Interest Litigation Support) project is to hold a seminar on November 15 2010.
The half-day seminar "Developing Public Interest Litigation: the International Experience" will be held at the Holiday Inn, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast.
A keynote address will be given by the Honourable Michael Kirby AC CMG, formerly of the Australian High Court, alongside a distinguished panel of international experts including: Ms Inez McCormack on the PPR Project; Dr. Ann Skelton, Centre for Child Law, University of Pretoria on "Public Interest Litigation, the South African Experience"; Brad Seligman, Impact Fund on "Public Interest Litigation, the USA Experience" and Michael Farrell, FLAC on "The Role of NGOs in Public Interest Litigation".
