Amnesty seeks Campaigns Coordinator (Women’s Human Rights) London, deadline 14 March 2011

Women all over the world face human rights abuses everyday and fight against the burden of poverty throughout their lives. We campaign to highlight violations against the most marginalised in society. As the Campaign Co-ordinator, you'll support the Programme Director and co-ordinate the work of staff and activists on the Womens Human Rights Programme.

You'll be involved in everything from organising events, meetings and demonstrations, developing and coordinating innovative campaign strategies and actions, advising on priorities and supporting the Programme Director on research, policy and advocacy projects.

As committed as we are to empowering women, you'll help them access their human rights and hold companies, governments and international financial institutions to account. You'll be up to date on relevant human rights and gender issues and debates and will have had experience in similar roles. You've certainly shown you can collaborate with a host of different people to get results. You'll be keen to move into a bigger organisation that can offer you a broader range of projects and the chance to learn from highly experienced senior people.

Applications for flexible working will be considered. Amnesty International values diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
