A4ID - Deputy Head of Partnerships and Legal Services, London - deadline 26 April 2012

A4ID is currently recruiting for a Deputy Head of Partnerships and Legal Services to be based in our office in London, UK.

The Deputy Head of Partnerships and Legal Services will coordinate the brokering of international pro bono opportunities by A4ID, bringing together legal experts and those working towards the Millennium Development Goals, ensuring all those who need legal advice can access it. They will also help development organisations to understand what their legal needs are and then put them in touch with the legal experts who can assist.

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the project system in an efficient manner and for maintaining and developing relationships with Legal and Development Partners in relation to the pro bono broker service.

Candidates will have qualified as a lawyer and have experience working in legal practice. They should be self-motivated and flexible in their approach, with excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the organisation to an external audience. Importantly, candidates should be enthusiastic and committed to the objectives of international development and ethos of the international development sector.
