Newly qualified Solicitor required 1-2 years PQE

A very exciting opportunity has arisen at Public Interest Lawyers (PIL) for a newly qualified solicitor to join its team. PIL specialises in Judicial Review work and has a particular focus on international cases arising out of conflicts abroad as well as other important international issues that directly involve and affect the UK. At home PIL has established an excellent reputation for Judicial Review work and has led the field with a significant number of high profile environmental and human rights cases. Many commentators have continually said that PIL leads the way in cutting edge litigation.

They are seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join our dynamic Birmingham based team. The right candidate should ideally have a keen interest in social justice and human rights work, be highly motivated and hard working, be able to deliver work of the highest quality whilst working to very tight deadlines, be a team player, be able to demonstrate initiative and be able to think outside the box. Previous experience of Judicial Review work is not required as full training will be given. Excellent terms and conditions await the right candidate.
