Research Assistant at the Human Rights Law Centre, University of Nottingham - deadline 3 February

The successful candidate will join a small team of academics, consultants and support staff and assist in the planning and implementation of human rights projects, which include training courses, workshops, conferences and research projects (both in the UK and overseas), as well as the publication of several human rights journals and books.

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree, or equivalent, involving human rights studies and/or relevant experience of working on human rights related projects. They should have a clear interest and demonstrable expertise in international human rights law. Previous experience in human rights projects is desirable. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills in English are essential. Knowledge of other languages is desirable.

Salary: £24766 to £27047 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
