Diploma in Family Law

Starting this October the Law Society of Ireland is running a Diploma in Family Law course. This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of family law in this jurisdiction and will examine recent cutting edge developments in core areas of family law and practice.  The objective of this diploma is to provide practitioners with an essential overview of the many recent developments in family law and the implications for day-to-day client advice, practice and procedure.

Certificate in Human Rights Law

Starting this November the Law Society of Ireland is running a Certificate in Human Rights Law course. This course aims to introduce participants to the regional, national and international human rights framework. It will also provide practical guidance on enforcing human rights in the legal arena. The overall objective is to encourage participants to develop skills necessary for pursuing human rights based arguments, including practice and procedure, using human rights legal databases and issue identification.
