Irish Aid: Junior Professional Internship – deadline 12 March 2015

Since 2009, Irish Aid in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has managed a Junior Professional Internship (JPI) Scheme. The JPI Scheme aims to provide valuable experience in development cooperation (policy and practice) to highly professional and motivated individuals, who may seek a career in development cooperation and related sectors.

The JPI Scheme is intended for those who have at least two years or more experience after completing postgraduate studies at university or similar institutions, and have demonstrated a high level of commitment, motivation and interest in development cooperation or a related sector.

JPIs are assigned to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Limerick, Dublin and in Missions overseas. Further information can be found in the Candidate Information document below.

The Scheme is ongoing and we are now inviting applications from individuals interested in an internship.

The closing date for applications is 12th March 2015.
