Courts Service of Ireland: Judicial Assistant Roles – 25 August

The Courts Service is seeking to recruit Judicial Assistants for assignment to one of the following areas of responsibility and will carry out duties commensurate with the grade;

• Judicial Assistant to a Judge of the Supreme Court/Court of Appeal
• Judicial Assistant to a Judge of the High Court
• Judicial Assistant to a Judge of the Circuit Court
• Judicial Assistant – Research Office

Applicants must have, on or before 25th August, 2015

- At least a 2.1 in a law degree at a minimum of level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications or an appropriate professional qualification (solicitor or barrister) and  an extensive knowledge of Irish Law and the Irish legal system. For assignment to certain positions a professional qualification will be required.

- Practical experience in conducting legal research.
