National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities: Regional Advocacy Manager – 4 September 2015

The National Advocacy Service is seeking to recruit a Regional Advocacy Manager.  The post will be a specified purpose contact between 6 -12 months, based in Green Street, Dublin 1.

The Regional Advocacy Manager will work with a regional team having responsibility for managing and overseeing the delivery of an advocacy service to people with disabilities within a region.  The role also encompasses a national remit under which the Regional Advocacy Manager will work as part of a national team on the development and implementation of strategy and quality standards.

Management experience (minimum two years), a deep understanding of disability and experience of advocating on behalf of others are required for the post, along with proven strategic planning, analytical and evaluation skills.

Salary:  €50,016-€61,064.  It is anticipated that new entrants to the National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities will be appointed on the 1st point of the scale however, incremental credit, should it be awarded, will be based on previous relevant experience as set out on application form.
