Irish Penal Reform Trust: Policy and Advocacy Internship – deadline 22 January

The Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) is Ireland's leading non-governmental organisation campaigning for the respect of human rights in the penal system, and for imprisonment to be used only as a last resort. They publish a wide range of policy and research documents; campaign vigorously across a wide range of penal policy issues; and are the leading independent voice in public debate on the Irish penal system.

The IPRT is currently accepting applications for its Policy and Advocacy internship programme. The internship is scheduled to run from March- June 2016. Interns usually work 17 hours per week over 2-3 days. Internships are unpaid, and it is important to note that IPRT will not be in a position to contribute to interns’ costs of living or accommodation in Dublin.

Those wishing to apply should send a completed application form and recent CV to info@iprt.ie.

The closing date for completed applications is Friday 22 January at 5pm.
