Royal Irish Academy: Constitutional Conversations – 2 March, Dublin

The Ethical, Political, Legal and Philosophical Studies Committee of the Royal Irish Academy is, in accordance with Mason, Hayes & Curran, organising a series of ‘Constitutional Conversations’ focusing on different aspects of constitutional law over the coming months.

The first Conversation, ‘Constitutions, referendums and the family’ will be convened by Dr Noelle Higgins and chaired by Dr Fergus Ryan. This conversation will take the form of a discussion on the recent changes to the conception of the family in Irish law, due to recent constitutional amendments and legislative changes.

Two bursaries to cover travel expenses, up to a maximum of €50.00 are available to post-graduate students from Irish universities. Please include a CV and up to 500 words outlining your reason for wishing to attend the Conversation, and how your attendance would assist your studies.
