UCD, in collaboration with the leading US law school for advocacy training, Stetson Law School, are holding a two day advocacy training course 'Mastering Cross Examination - Telling the Story of Your Cause Through Their Witnesses'. The course aims to help students and legal professionals develop their advocacy skills, with talks given including, but not limited to, cross-examining expert witnesses, the psychology of story-telling and performing cross-examination with a purpose.

Bláthne Ruane SC, Bar of Ireland, will be the keynote speaker. Other speakers include Charles H. Rose III, judge advocate, Lee A. Coppock, trial advocacy fellow for Stetson University, Gillian Moore, prosecutor, and Erika S. McArdle, Assistant Director of the Center for Excellence in Advocacy, amongst others. Attendees will also be given free access to Stetson’s Online Advocacy Materials.
