Irish Council for Civil Liberties: Executive Director – deadline Thursday 21st July

Ireland’s Independent human rights watchdog, the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) are recruiting a new Executive Director to undertake responsibility for the successful leadership and management of the ICCL.

The ICCL are seeking an individual who will creatively take initiative in setting and achieving goals, and foster efficient teamwork in determining strategies to move the organisation forward.

Under the direction of the council’s Board of Directors, the executive director will work as a professional advisor, participating with the board to guide the organisation, developing its vision and strategic plan.

Applicants should hold third level qualifications in a human rights, civil liberties or equality related discipline, and have at least 8 years of senior management experience, including experience of managing budgets, preferably within a human rights and equality oriented organisation.
