Council of Europe’s European Commission against Racism and Intolerance: Irish member – 5 August 2016

The Minister for Justice and Equality is seeking expressions of interest in serving as the Irish member on the Commission against Racism and Intolerance.

The position is for a five year term which begins on the 24th of November 2016.

‘The ECRI is a Council of Europe body whose primary objective is to combat racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism and intolerance.’

Being a member entails committing approximately 25 days per year to the Commission’s work including three plenary sessions in Strasbourg.
