Irish Rule of Law International: Executive Director – deadline 26 September 2016

Irish Rule of Law International (IRLI) is a joint charity of The Law Society of Ireland and The Bar of Ireland. It is a project-based organisation dedicated to promoting the rule of law in developing countries. IRLI is looking for a full-time Executive Director to lead the organisation.

The role involves responsibility for the successful leadership and management of IRLI, under direction of the Board of Directors. Other responsibilities include development of a new organisational strategic plan, revenue generation, financial management, organisational development, staff and organisation management.

The successful candidate should have a third level qualification in a discipline such as human rights, development, law, civil liberties etc.; at least 5 years’ management experience; knowledge of human rights, rule of law and development issues; appreciation of the aims and objectives of IRLI.
