Transparency International Ireland: Advocacy & Legal Executive (Volunteer) – deadline 13 November 2016

Transparency International Ireland (TII) is the Irish Chapter of a global movement against corruption.  It is independent of government, politically non-partisan and non-profit making. TII has been operating its Speak Up helpline since 2011 to provide assistance to whistleblowers, as well as witnesses and victims of corruption and wrongdoing.

The purpose of this position is to support the work of TII and, in particular, the Speak Up helpline and other projects headed by TII’s Legal Counsel.

The volunteer role involves working at least three days a week at TII’s office in Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1, from 9am to 5pm/10am to 6pm, with an hour for lunch.

Applicants should have legal training and experience as well as excellent research skills.

Closing date of application is Sunday 13th of November.
