Refugee Rights Data Project: ‘Hidden Struggles: Human rights violations and gender-specific adversities faced by refugees in Greece’ report launch – 26 January, Dublin

The Refugee Rights Data Project in collaboration with the Immigrant Council of Ireland and Denise Charlton & Associates host the launch of new research, ‘Hidden Struggles: Human rights violations and gender-specific adversities faced by refugees in Greece’.

The event launches two new research reports, one detailing the particular challenges faced by women refugees in Greece and the second providing a more general overview of the human rights issues affecting refugees. Key findings drawn from the research mission will be presented at the launch, alongside expert analysis and a discussion on how this evidence can improve Ireland’s response to the refugee crisis. The research mission visited Greece in early December 2016 collecting first-hand data and included Nusha Yonkova (Immigrant Council of Ireland) and Denise Charlton, (Charlton & Associates).

The event will take place on 26 January from 10 am to 12.30 pm in Europe House, 12-14 Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2.

Attendance is free – please register by emailing pippa@immigrantcouncil.ie.
