Sage: Responding to the human rights of older people and adults who may be vulnerable – 28 February, Dublin

Sage is hosting a public meeting on the topic ‘Responding to the human rights of older people and adults who may be vulnerable’ in the context of the new Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act 2015, proposed Deprivation of Liberty provisions in the Disability (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2016 and developments in safeguarding and advocacy.  The purpose of the event is to generate discussion and debate amongst a broad audience from varying perspectives on current and proposed legislative changes that will impact older people, adults who may be vulnerable and those within society who have a role in responding to and upholding their rights. There will be opportunities for contributions to the discussion from the audience.  

The event will take place on Tuesday 28 February at 6.30 pm in the Davenport Hotel, Merrion St Lower, Dublin 2.
