The Human Rights Centre, in conjunction with Reclaim the Agenda, host this event 'Human Rights and Womenhood: Contemporary Issues facing Women in Northern Ireland' to celebrate International Women's Day. This panel event held at Queens University Belfast, will see academics discuss prevalent social issues for women in Northern Ireland. Including speakers on women's reproductive rights, violence against women, disability rights, refugee and migrant women's issues, and women's imprisonment, the panel aims to approach a spectrum of issues affecting contemporary womanhood in this region.
