Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales: Executive Officer – deadline 5 June

The Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales (BHRC) is the international human rights arm of the Bar of England and Wales. It is dedicated to promoting justice and respect for human rights through the rule of law. BHRC’s work includes the protection of advocates, judges, human rights defenders and the marginalised and vulnerable.

The Executive Officer will lead and coordinate all aspects of BHRC’s work. Under the supervision of the BHRC Chairperson and Executive, the Executive Officer’s responsibilities will cover communications, fundraising, event promotion, project management and financial management.

Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field, relevant professional experience, preferably within the international law/human rights sector and experience of working in partnership with different organisations.
