Dublin Rape Crisis Centre Volunteer Appeal – deadline 22 September 2017

DRCC are seeking volunteers to train as:

• Telephone Counsellors to staff our 24-hour Counselling Line outside office hours.
• Support Personnel who will be available on a rota basis to attend the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit in the Rotunda Hospital.

Applicants must be a minimum of 25 years old and reside in the ‘01’ telephone area.

DRCC Volunteers help to operate the National 24-Hour Helpline, accompany people to the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit or to court and give talks to schools and community groups.  Dublin Rape Crisis Centre provide a 72 hour training programme and ongoing supervision and support to all volunteers.
