Human Rights Day: Agenda 2030 Long Walk to Freedom – 10 December, Dublin

On Human Rights Day, Sunday 10th December, ATD Ireland invites you again to raise awareness on the 17 Global Goals of the 2030 Agenda. Join the "Long Walk to Freedom - Episode 3", the third symbolic walk of a series of 16 walks which take place each year from 2015 (Episode 1) to 2030, on Human Rights Day!

The Candlelit Walk will start at 5.30pm at the "Home" Sculpture at the junction of Buckingham Street and Sean McDermott Street in Dublin 1. It will last around 1 hour and a half (time of gathering, walk and short speeches or readings at some stops). Stops will include the James Connolly Statue, the Amnesty Sculpture "Universal Links on Human Rights", it will also stop at the Famine Statues and end at the Human Rights and Poverty Stone on Custom House Quay.
