Migrant Rights Centre Ireland: Project Coordinator (Part-Time) & Development Worker (Full-Time) – Deadline 19th December

Migrant Rights Centre Ireland (MRCI) is a national organisation working to promote justice, empowerment and equality for migrants and their families. MRCI is seeking applications for TWO positions, Project Coordinator and Development Worker to work on a new project based in the border region. Crossing Borders Breaking Boundaries is a new exciting and innovative cross border partnership project funded by the European Regional Development Fund under the Peace IV Programme.

The project aims to support the participation of Black and Minority Ethnic workers (BMEs) in precarious work to secure their rights and build relationships across communities - Protestant, Unionist, Loyalist, Catholic, Republican and Nationalist (PULCRN) - to build, develop and promote positive relations. Project partners are Community Intercultural Programme Craigavon, Irish Congress of Trade Unions (Northern Ireland) and Ulster University’s Institute for Research in Social Sciences.
