National Women’s Council of Ireland: ESHTE Project Coordinator – deadline 11 January 2018

The National Women’s Council of Ireland (NWCI) is the leading national women’s membership organisation seeking equality for women. It represents 180-member groups as well as a wide range of individual members from a diversity of backgrounds, sectors and locations.

NWCI is currently recruiting for ESHTE Project Coordinator

NWCI is looking for someone with a good understanding of women’s equality, a strong communicator, and who can build relationships.

The ESHTE project aims to prevent and combat sexual violence and harassment (SVH) and build a culture of zero tolerance in universities and 3rd level institutions (UTLIs) throughout Europe through building a feminist understanding and analysis of the causes and effects of SVH.

The ESHTE Project Coordinator will lead the development, implementation, delivery and communication of the project in accordance with the project proposal and NWCI’s strategic plan (2016-2020).

This position is for four days a week based in Dublin with occasional European travel. Contract is for a period of 15 months commencing on 1st February 2018.

The person appointed will build on the work of the NWCI to bring about an end to violence against women at a national and European level and globally.
