Inclusion Ireland: Tender for Equality and Human Rights Training – deadline 12 March 2018

Inclusion Ireland is a national, rights based advocacy organisation that works to promote the rights of persons with an intellectual disability.

Inclusion Ireland has been funded by the Irish Human Rights & Equality Commission for a project to develop an accessible toolkit on the public sector duty informed by people with intellectual disabilities.

Inclusion Ireland is now inviting tenders from interested parties to deliver two accessible training and information workshops in Human Rights, Equality, and the Public Sector Duty.

This training is intended to give participants with an intellectual disability sufficient preparatory information so that they can use the Public Sector Duty to review and challenge aspects of a local public service that they experience as being discriminatory.

All training materials must be in easy-to-read format and accessible to people with intellectual disabilities. It is expected that some of the training materials may later be used for an accessible toolkit on the public sector duty.

Applicants should indicate their availability to carry out this training in Dublin between April and May 2018
