Irish Centre for Human Rights, NUIG: Business and Human Rights Symposium – 29 April

The Irish Centre for Human Rights in the School of Law at the National University of Ireland, Galway will host a symposium exploring key international and national efforts aimed at advancing business respect for human rights. Issues discussed will include:

  • The UN Guiding Principles at 10;
  • Advancements in human rights due diligence;
  • The revision of Ireland’s national plan, and
  • Prospects for the proposed international treaty on business and human rights.

The symposium will bring together a number of legal and policy experts and practitioners (below).
