The Department of Justice invitation to tender

The Department of Justice is now inviting tenders for the following pieces of research work:

Project Title 1: Domestic Violence Intervention Programmes: An International Rapid Evidence Review

The Department invites tenders for research to review the international evidence base for the rollout of domestic violence intervention programmes (DVIPs) with the aim of identifying potential opportunities for the further development of similar programmes in Ireland.

Project Title 2: Evaluation of ACER Projects (Regional Sites)

The Department invites tenders to conduct an evaluation of the ACER programme (Regional Sites). ACER initiatives for the regional sites operate in Dundalk, Waterford and Limerick. The purpose of this evaluation is to provide an understanding of the implementation of the ACER programme, and the impacts the projects have had in their local communities, in order to highlight any process or implementation issues, which may hamper the ability to expand the programme. The results of the evaluation will be used by the Department and our main stakeholders to measure the efficacy of the programme in relation to outcomes and impacts and ultimately to inform the decision to roll out the programme to other locations nationwide.

The closing date for these tenders is 5pm Irish Time on the 2nd of July 2021. Further details are set out in the Request for Tender (RFT) document which can be found on the Department’s website

The Research Tender Submission form can also be found at the above link.

Questions about these tenders should be sent to research@justice.ie with the name of the tender in the subject line.
