Ireland extends immigration permissions until January 2022

Immigration permissions have once again been extended by the State. Any immigration permissions that are due to expire between the 21st September 2021 and the 15th January 2022 are extended to the 15 January 2022. The extensions will apply to those who have already had their immigrations extended. The Minister for Justice has recommended that all permissions are registered or renewed as soon as possible as this will be the final extension. While the extension is to apply to all, special arrangements have been put in place for international students. Students who have completed the maximum number of language courses can work in line with the Interim List of Eligible Programmes criteria until the 15 January but must apply for another immigration permission if they wish to remain in Ireland.
