MLRC is an independent law centre and charity which provides free legal advice and representation to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in the areas of social housing and related social welfare law. MLRC also seeks to advocate change in laws, policies and attitudes which are unduly harsh and adversely impact its client group.

This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant, dynamic independent law centre committed to the principles of human rights, social justice and equality. The Communications & Fundraising Officer will be an integral part of the MLRC team, reporting to the Managing Solicitor. The role will suit a creative and strategic thinker with experience of the non-profit sector, excellent communication skills and the ability to build successful lasting relationships.

This is a permanent contract with a six-month probationary period. The salary offered is commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position but applicants seeking reduced working hours may be considered. The role is based at Mercy Law Resource Centre, 25 Cork Street, Dublin 8.
