Nasc invites applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer

Nasc, the Migrant and Refugee Rights Centre seeks to appoint a Chief Executive Officer. You will lead a national organisation that respects, protects, promotes and vindicates the rights of migrants and refugees in Ireland.

We particularly welcome and encourage applications from those who meet the essential criteria from migrant or refugee backgrounds, and who have lived experience of the impact of refugee and/or immigration policy and practice.

You will be an experienced professional within your field of expertise, offering Nasc strategic vision, collaborative leadership, and delivering on Nasc’s commitment to working in partnership with migrants and refugees to realise their rights. You will have an excellent understanding of political and legal context in which Nasc operates. You will have experience of managing/leading campaigns in partnership with migrants, refugees and/or with Nasc’s partner organisations. Nasc’s key areas of focus under its Strategic Plan for 2022-2024 are:

A. Advocacy and Information Services: we provide fee, confidential and expert information on matters relating to immigration and protection.

B. Policy, campaigning and communications: we contribute to, shape and influence the local and national discourse on immigration and protection

C. Integration programmes: we work with individuals, groups and communities to promote integration
