Gavan Mc Laughlin joins PILA

Trainee Solicitor Gavan Mc Laughlin has joined the Public Interest Law Alliance on a secondment as part of his Pro Bono rotation in Arthur Cox. A graduate of the BCL Law and Economics programme in Maynooth University, Gavan has a strong interest in pro bono, employment matters, litigation and human rights. He is the Auditor of the Solicitors’ Apprentice Debating Society of Ireland, and was formerly the Auditor of the MU Literary & Debating Society, Head Mentor of the Innumeris Education Mentoring Project, and Speaker of the Maynooth Students’ Union Senate. In Arthur Cox, Gavan heads the Firm’s Legal Education Project, is involved in several family reunification cases, and has led aspects of two Amicus pro bono projects.
