The 4th Annual Dave Ellis Memorial Lecture will take place on Tuesday 23 November at 6pm. FLAC is delighted to announce that Michael Mansfield QC will deliver this year's lecture on the theme of "Access to Justice". The event will take place in the Pillar Room, Rotunda Hospital, Parnell Square, Dublin 1 and will be followed by a wine reception. Over the last 40 years Michael Mansfield QC has appeared in most of the major civil liberties and human rights cases in the UK, including the miners' strike, the Birmingham Six and Judith Ward appeals, the Bloody Sunday and Stephen Lawrence Inquiries and the inquest into the death of Jean Charles de Menezes. He is widely regarded as one of the outstanding advocates of his generation.
