Children’s Rights Alliance Policy Officer - deadline 16 March 2012

The position will involve preparing research documents, legal, policy and consultation submissions that analyse and highlight gaps in the protection of children’s rights and provide concrete solutions to achieve real change.  The role will also involve monitoring domestic and international developments as well as alerting the Alliance to potential opportunities to positively impact on and influence the realisation of children’s rights in Ireland.

The successful candidate will be educated to third level in a relevant discipline, have an excellent knowledge of human rights and at least three years’ experience conducting research and writing reports.

The Alliance is funded by, among others, The Atlantic Philanthropies, One Foundation and Government sources.
