ICCL - Anti-Discrimination Law Conference & Book Launch - 23 October, Dublin

You are cordially invited to the forthcoming launch of a comprehensive new legal textbook
entitled "Equal Status Acts 2000-2011, Discrimination in the Provision of Goods and Services" by Judy
Walsh.

The book will be launched by Minister Kathleen Lynch T.D., Minister of State with responsibility for
Equality, Disability, Mental Health and Older People at the forthcoming Irish Council for Civil Liberties
(ICCL) conference - 'The Future of Anti-Discrimination Law in Ireland'.

The conference will address some of the key themes emerging from the ICCL's ongoing Review of Anti-Discrimination Law in Ireland project. Speakers at the conference include:

  • Niall McCutcheon - Director of the Equality Tribunal
  • Conor Power BL - Chair of the Advisory Group on the Review of Anti-Discrimination Law in Ireland
  • Moya DePaor - Acting Director of Northside Community Law Centre
  • Michael Farrell - Solicitor, and member of the Public Interest Law Alliance (PILA)
