Irish Refugee Council – Conference on the role of credibility in international protection claims - 9 November, Dublin

The Irish Refugee Council are hosting a conference to discuss the role of credibility in international protection claims.

Keynote speaker:  Prof Guy Goodwin-Gill, Professor of International Refugee Law at Oxford University.

 

Other speakers include:        

Assoc. Prof. Rosemary Byrne, Senior lecturer in International and Human Rights Law, Trinity College Dublin.

Dr Jane Herlihy, Director of the Centre for the Study of Emotion and Law. Ms Fadala Novak-Irons, UNHCR policy officer for Europe.

Afternoon seminars include: working with children and young people, victims of torture and other trauma, gender-specific persecution, early legal advice for asylum seekers

Light refreshments and lunch will be provided
