Children’s Rights Alliance: Project Manager, Child Refugee Initiative – deadline 18 October 2016

The Children’s Rights Alliance unites over 100 members working together to make Ireland one of the best places in the world to be a child. The CRA make sure children’s rights are respected and protected in our laws, policies and services. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team to lead and implement the Child Refugee Initiative.

The role involves strategic planning, work planning, budgetary and evaluation activities; preparing reports for the Board, funders, donors and evaluators; researching and preparing accessible and succinct policy papers, submissions and reports.

The successful candidate should have experience in management, policy development and working with children, and organisations with diverse and complex needs. They should have a relevant undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree, have a knowledge of anti-discrimination law, and child protection legislation and policies. They should further possess project management skills, leadership skills, interpersonal skills, an ability to research and draft policy papers, and to publicly represent the CRA.
