JUSTICIA European Rights Network: Programme Director (EU Advocacy) – deadline 29 September 2016

The JUSTICIA European Rights Network is a pan European Network consisting of 19 Network Member organisations based in 17 Member States, which works on EU criminal justice matters, namely procedural rights and the rights of victims of crime. Under the overall supervision of the Executive Director of the ICCL, the JUSTICIA Programme Director (EU Advocacy) will be based in Brussels and will oversee the coordination of the network under the current JUSTICIA Strategic Framework.  A strategic thinker with a clear understanding of JUSTICIA’s role, the Programme Director (EU Advocacy) will have the skills and experience needed to deliver on the full potential of the network and provide leadership as it enters its next stage of development.

The role involves developing the network, engaging in advocacy and representational work, managing and leading external communications, managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders in civil society. The successful candidate must have the legal right to live and work in Belgium.
