Children’s Rights Alliance: Information and Legal Support Officer – closing date 17 April 2020

The Children’s Rights Alliance is recruiting an Information and Legal Support Officer to join their team.

The Children’s Rights Alliance is growing its Helpline and Legal Information Service for children, young people, their families and second-tier advice givers. The Information and Legal Support Officer will work with the Children’s Rights Alliance to provide information and support to Children’s Rights Alliance service users and assist in the overall delivery of the Alliance legal and information programme on children and young people’s legal entitlements.

The successful candidate will have legal experience in the area of child law, children’s rights and/or human rights, prior experience in the direct provision of information and support to individuals and organisations on children’s rights, human rights and/or another relevant topic and experience of working with organisations/groups with diverse and complex needs.

This is a two-year temporary employment contract for 21 hours per week.
