Disability Federation of Ireland: Communications Manager
DFI are looking to hire an an experienced and motivated Communications Manager who will play an important role in developing communications with its membership and strengthening the profile of disability advocacy in Ireland.
The purpose of the role will be to lead the provision of the full range of DFI’s communications and marketing functions including all digital, social, and traditional media. They will work with other DFI staff to conceptualise and implement communications strategies and campaigns (including membership engagement), maintaining good working relationships with all stakeholders to identify member needs and overcome barriers to engagement.
To succeed in this role, the successful candidate will be highly comfortable with managing and communicating content. They will be a team player and has both patience and confidence. The candidate will be a good media spokesperson who is committed to creating DFI’s tone, with a strong ability to correlate the message on DFI’s numerous strands of advocacy.
