Migrant Rights Centre Ireland (MRCI) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced fundraiser to join our passionate and winning team. This is an exciting and new role, reporting to the Finance and Operations Manager and leading MRCI’s Fundraising Working Group. The Fundraising and Membership Lead will be responsible for nurturing our supporters, community members, public donations, major donors and enhancing opportunities for people to financially support the work of the MRCI. This role will also be responsible for showcasing impact, and growing awareness of the essential work we do and provide grant identification and reporting supports for funding applications.
Candidate
You will be an experienced and talented at fundraising. You will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and donors, and experience of public speaking. Have extensive knowledge of communications for fundraising and content development. You will be creative and innovate in leading fundraising campaigns, be tech savvy and understand donor and membership care.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to develop and roll out sustainable fundraising strategies to meet MRCI annual fundraising targets through maintaining and growing its existing donor-base, securing new and sustainable once off, recuring and institutional financial contributions and supporting MRCI’s annual funding raising events - Challenge for Change and Gala.
