Professor Thomas O’Malley SC has revived his Sentencing, Crime and Justice legal blog. Progessor O’Malley is Associate Professor of Law at NUI Galway and the author of the leading text on Irish sentencing law.
Posting on LinkedIn, he stated:
“Back in the dark days of the first Covid lockdown I started a blog entitled ‘Sentencing, Crime and Justice’. It was going well for a few years, or so I would like to think, but then, as often happens with these things, it fizzled out. I have now resurrected it, starting with three new posts: ‘The curse of miscellaneous provisions statute’, ‘The sentence for murder’ and ‘The unbearable length of some recent Irish judgments’.”
